Program:<\/strong> Save on Energy \u2014 Retrofit Program (Prescriptive Solar Incentive)
Who qualifies:<\/strong> Ontario commercial, institutional, and industrial customers (businesses, nonprofits, municipal and large facilities).
Purpose:<\/strong> Incentivize behind-the-meter solar PV systems<\/strong> that reduce onsite load rather than exporting to the grid.
Incentive structure:<\/strong>
\u2022 Micro-generation systems<\/strong> (\u226410 kW-DC): $1,000\/kW-DC<\/strong>
\u2022 Small\/medium systems<\/strong> (>10 kW-AC up to 1 MW-AC): $860\/kW-AC<\/strong>
\u26a0 Incentive capped at 1 MW-AC per project<\/strong> and up to 50% of eligible project costs<\/strong>.
Key requirements:<\/strong>
